Not many people here are fans of the Rancho on the Superduty. I don't think the very popular RS5000 are heavy enough for these trucks. Some folks have used the more expensive adjustable model (9000?) and been happy.
But the consensus here is Bilstein for our trucks. That is what I will be buying soon.
I used Bilstein for over 40000 miles, but recently changed them with ProComp shocks what came along with the lift kit. It's stiffer than Bilstein was, and I'm really satisfied with them. I like them more, than I liked the Bilstein....
Depends on srw, dully, 4X2, 4X4, lifted or not. Go to their website and see which part number your truck uses. There are also differant applications available!
I don't know how they are on the trucks, but I had bought a set 4 years ago for a Mustang GT and they all leaked. I through them in the garbage and bought Tokio shocks instead. They also had a sliding brass valve inside the shock that made a rattling sound that drove me nuts. It was transmitted through the whole car because I had spherical bushings in the suspension arms.
