4x4 switches - OH
hi everyone .. gm tech , finally bought ford 2003 xlt 4x4 and on 4x4 switch from 2 wheel to 4 wheel , whole truck locks into low 4 wheel , and in high , still seems locked into 4 low , when turning , shudders and binds .. anyhelp please !!

You shouldn't be using 4-hi or 4-low when you are on hard dry surfaces, only use 2wd.
The Ford 4wd system is not the same as an all wheel drive system that can be used at any time. So even when you are in 4-hi the driveline will bind up if you are on a hard surface. It sounds to me like your truck is working normal.
