Hi, I am trying to replace the wipers.I could not get just refills locally so I got the complete wiper, it is turning into a PIA.

I cannot get the old wiper blade off,I am depressing the metal tab on the underside of the wiper. I have tried needle nose pliers. I would be grateful for some help on what I thought was going to be a simple thing.Thanks.
