are you going to break up a complete skyjacker kit for a 80-86 F250 If its just a few components thats one thing, but if its complete kit thats a crime!!! lol arent those upwards of $1000 for a kit? I really dont see it working being that the f250 has leaf springs and you should have coil springs, am i right? Or are you just modifying the bracket?
the the kit i have is for an f-250 IFS with a dana 44. im eather going to modify my crossmember to bolt on to the skyjacker dropdown brackets, or fab up some new ones and sell the skyjackers. I picked up the dropdown brackets, drop pitman arm, and blocks for $40. so i know i got a deal on it. the drop pitman arm alone is worth $80 new.
I looked at the photo that Franklen2 posted and that seems to be the same configuration as my 2wd. the skyjacker drop down brackets are suppost to be positioned and welded to the center section of the x-member rather than the stock location of the side.
any ideas? remember i am working with 2wd i-beams. -Josh
