first off how many miles are on the truck? how does it run without a load on it? any smoke issues? do you have anything done to the truck or is it bone stock?

for visual inspections- engine oil condition, fuel filter service? exhaust leaks behind turbo on firewall.

then for scanning, pull codes obviously, check pid data, drive truck, moniter icp and ipr data, what is ipr at idle and under WOT conditions, the same with icp. max boost achieved,

key on engine off, moniter ebp, map, and baro pids. they should all be within .4-.5 of each other.

that is a good start and worth a beer or two...lol if you have any question as to what any of that means just ask, i dont know your knowledge level with the trucks.

power is alwas low it will not run out at all can't get it up much over 75 empty. never have gotten cel ever 285/75/16 e4od no oil leaks , new turbo seals replaced last nov all new glow plugs had two of them bad so i had then all replaced new fuel filter houseing. heater was bad backpresurevalve kit all new injector seals, new fuel pump ,new boost presure sensor. i change the oil at 5000 or sooner dec and june. 151,000 miles stock other then air have the 6637 on it i have a hypertec programer its been set on stock for some time now not any differance when set on stage 3. we have a few 97 psd at work and they always sound so much more alive then mine was good a few years back and the throdle peddel was very touchy but not now just seams dead i almost think the timing is retarded. no smoke when warm at all some on cold starts the norm 1 min thing . looking at miles now i only put 5500 miles on it this past year.

How does she run without the HyperTech? Have you removed it to see if it might be the problem?

hmmm, do you hear any turbo whistle? do you have any way to read your boost numbers? reasoni ask is for the turbo reseal. why was it done? what do your blades look like? spin easy?

also, i cant recall if you have stock exhaust on this truck.....plugged converter perhaps?

yes i have removed hyper tec, and yes joe turbo whistle is real good with the 6637. i think i read on here some where about a rev test? when it's warn or cold at a idle if i punch it to the floor and hold it it will rev up to about 1800rpm sputter and stumble and slowly rpm's go up tell about 2800 and then it will tack off then i get some smoke. on turbo seals because mech. sail was starting to leak if i rember right. i trust the guy that worked on it last year he is good with powerstrokes and a very honest man. but just cant afford to leave it there any more and i needed it .

what you describe sounds exactly like injector o-rings, i cant remember if your truck had the o-rings replaced or not, there are a couple trucks on here right now with similar concerns...lol

it still sounds like an injector issue to me, they may have cut an o-ring. and chekc your firewall for soot back behind the turbo. the up-pipe gaskets may be leaking
