but do you know how the tailgate emblem comes off? is it just held on with pins and glue?
Ed do you know what the part number and price is for the front emblem? I just noticed mine has gotten waterlogged.

07 Ford Emblem for tailgate
I did a couple of searches and all I could find was used ones off Ebay. Anyone know where I could get a new one on-line? I tried a ford parts site and entered in the following part number with no luck: 4l34-15402a16-ac

the 09 emblems are out, but you have to order them through the dealership only. you cannot purchase them on the web just yet. maybe you can give Tasca Ford a call though. their website doesn't list the emblems yet, but they are a dealership with awesome customer service
@ 98greensithe tailgate emblem is just like the fender emblems. it has the double sided tape and 2 locator pins. try using fishing line and a hot air gun (hair dryer)

wow, I guess he did. completely missed that. I think I got it confused with another thread about the 09 emblems on a 04-08 truck.
