400hp???
I have a stock 2005 4X4 CC and wanted to know the easiest ($$$) way to get to 400hp. From what I've read (I'm a rookie here), the stock airbox should be fine and sct/innovative tune is the way to go. Should I go with a catback or tb exhaust? And is one better than the other? It is not a daily driver and is used to tow my travel trailer so I guess I should be more concerned with torque? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stock airbox is fine. A SCT tuner can get you there. I got to 431rwhp with a tune from Spartan on my stock motor. Definately go with a turbo back for the lower EGTs. Yeah I would be more concerned with torque numbers if it's mainly used to tow.

400hp is as easy as you said/riggz said. but 400hp and being able to tow (depending how heavy) can take a lot more work.
the tunes that can make a stock truck put down 400hp at the rear wheels are not for towing and the temps can get hot super quick.

The tune I run now put down the numbers in my sig and its very manageable for EGTs, I rarely ever see 1000 degree temps even while towing at about 65-70mph. This one was tuned by Eric at Innovative and is a perfect all around tune. I also have an Ultra Comp tune from Spartan that runs really hot but still runs the same time as my Innovative tune. I have the Hybrid Race file but never got the chance to run it at the track yet to see how it compares but towing with it gets pretty warm also.
