BigKen you know that I can complain and be b*t*hy. But for me just treat me as one of the guys. If the men fail then I fail. Thats my input.

This won't be over soon......no matter who gets elected. To correct the Dow now will require at least a 12-18 month period, and many Americans will lose a great deal of money. Watch the foreclosure rate go up now................

If only a guy could time it right, and get into it JUST before they started climbing again.

IF it climbs again.

My 401-K is purchasing, weekly, more stock for the 'buck' as the stock prices drop......By the time they start going up again, that's just more stock that I'll own because of the extra purchasing that was done while they were cheap.....

Those near retirement? I hope to hell you were smart and had your 401-K in the Safer capital preservation funds (money markets, bonds, etc.).

And mine dropped quite a bit along with everyone else.....

Funny; I was just thinking that myself earlier today when I saw that...

Too bad you can't do that when you've only got a couple hundred bucks to spend.... *sigh*

Yep, great time to buy, GM is down to $5ish. When a company like Ford is down to $2 it can double incredibly easily even triple.

I got a little cash but know nothing about buying stock. I refuse to deal with a money manager that wants to control it. I bet cmpd1781 is the only person here that knows who my avatar is.
