being as I am 35 I am unfortunately a long ways from retirement. So I will just sit to the side and watch the market be topsy-turvy. It will go back up and all the shares my 401k gets now will just make the value jump more as the market improves. I have already gone through this once in 99-2000 and it came back nicely. Usually around election times the markets tumbles for a while. We just are getting hit from all sides here,
My 401-K is purchasing, weekly, more stock for the 'buck' as the stock prices drop......By the time they start going up again, that's just more stock that I'll own because of the extra purchasing that was done while they were cheap.....
Yup, agree with you, I have 38 years yet to retire at 65!!!
