I thought i had posted somewhere about this but i cant find it anywhere. My windows are slow going down and up. the driver side is a little faster than the passenger. The passenger actually got stuck one day. So what do i need to to about this problem? With winter coming around I dont want it to get stuck on me.
I lubricated the runners, and sprayed some in the area where the cable is. I did notice that the motor was getting hot when i rolled it back up. I guess im just going to have to put a new motor in it. Anyone know where i can get a pair for a cheap price?
If the motor is getting hot, it could be because the regulator is binding up or not moving smoothly or freely. I would check out the regulators before throwing a couple of motors at it. Dan.
first thing is check the battery terminals making sure they are clean then lube the glass run channels. thru the years i have always relied on wd40 i have been doing glass for 30 years and wont install a roll up glass with out spraying some lube in the channels
There is a TSB for aligning the window in the runners. Basically it says to loosen up the clamps at the bottom and push the window into the rear channel.
