A new panel sounds for that section sounds good, and if you're good with a can of spray paint, you can get a decent match. Good prep work is a MUST.

It kinda looks like the door has been opened up against something hard. Like something with a chain, but the hole im not sure about.

I can guarantee the door was not opened against anything. Popular opinion seems to be chain slap or a ball peen hammer.

Chase ,

Good pics ,,
it looks as though the entire repair hinges around whether or not the damage above the moulding comes out by pressing ,,

If not ,,the entire door has to be repainted ,,if that is the case .it will be harder to contain the blend within the panel ..Meaning you may need to paint the rear door as well..

Try pushing the largest part of the dent out below the mldg & see what happens above ...

Did you talk to your uncle about paintless tools ?...

I did not talk with my uncle, he was out hunting. I'm not sure he has any of the paintless dent tools but I'll ask when I talk with him. The bigger problem is he's over 8 hours away.
If I get a chance I'll pull the door panel and see about pushing the dent out from the inside... I'm not going to get my hopes too high.
