Stuck engine

Stuck engine
I have a 460 that is stuck(siezed). I need to get the converter off the flexplate to mount it to a stand, but can't rotate it to get the last 2 nuts off the converter. Is there a trick to getting at the last 2 nuts off?
I guess if I need to, I will remove the heads and try to get it broke free so it will rotate, but I'd prefer not to do that.

i did have this problem a few years ago but i cant remember for the life of me how i did it. i may have popped off the oil pan and worked the crank out with the flexplate and torque still on it then took it off after. i'll try to remember in the meantime but that may be how i did it.

actually i might not of read your post wrong. if the transmission is already off, then i am not sure except for trying to break loose the engine of getting at the nuts. i was thinking that you still had the tranny bolted to engine. should read and then let brain digest info first.
