I have the AME Brute Force... Sounds great... when I first installed it seemed to have a bit better throttle response (maybe I'm nuts) but now I'm used to it.
I have a Scan Gauge that monitors the incoming air temp. It's always within a degree or two of ambient. I can't imagine such a slight change would make any noticeable difference.

While this is not likely to be noticeable I would imagine the larger amount of air being fed into the intake could possibly help the throttle response ....
1 I'm in agreement with you on the exhaust problem. I am planing on getting a set of Banks Torx Tubes one day. They are the only ones that I know of that fit the E-350 because of the engines offset in the frame.
