I have a 2003 7.3 power stroke that if you leave the inter cooler hoses hooked up and try to rev it up, it bogs down and boils out black smoke. Un-hook the hose and it runs fine. Revs up and no smoke. I am guessing:lack of air, but WHY? Waste gate stuck? What controls the waste gate?
