Should be bolt in. All you need is the non-EBPV outlet flange. You can get it from Beans -- look here:
Beans Diesel Performance (Powered by CubeCart)

Oh man... Early bird will need new spider, exhaust input flange (possibly up-pipes, I don't remember), intake manifolds, and I/C piping. Might be better off getting the Beans D66. Wanna part with the Van turbo??

I don't know now the D66 plays compared to stock -- I know next to nothing about the early birds. Wish I could help...

If you're going to part with the van turbo, put me first on your list -- as long as we're talking reasonable costs, I'll pick it up off you.

I called Ryan Bean about the D66 a while back. The D66 is basically a journal bearing GTP38R.
He aslo sells a conversion kit that adapts the GTP38R compressor housing, compressor wheel and compressor backing plate to the van turbo for around $600.

I know that the people running the D66 love them and you don't hear of complaints about them.. If I were in your shoes, thats what I would get.

I'm kind of wondering what you get back as well. I'm no expert, but this would be the first time I heard of a van/early turbo hybrid. Let us know!!

My neighbor has an early '99 E350. I wonder if that turbo would bolt up to ours, or is it a carry over from the 95-97 trucks. I've done a search on powerstrokeshop.com for van turbos and they list one for E350's before 12/98.
