I know this is probably simple but I'm looking for a manual that would help my son and I remove the front body panels on his 88 F-250. We're rookies and we don't want to tear up more than we fix.

Without looking at a book, generally it is easiest to remove the front bumper assembly first, then the hood, and go from there. If you are changing panels, look at the replacement panel for the attachment points first. You should at least use 2 people for the hood/bumper removal. Hope this helps.

Do yourself a favor and purchase a subscription to AllDataDIY for your truck. It is $26.95 a year ($16.95 per additional vehcle) and has EXCELLENT information with illustrations to take apart and or repair everything on your truck/car plus wiring schematics, TSBs, etc. VERY handy!
