Any one know of a good body repair manual specific to Ford trucks? I know this is probably simple but I'm looking for a manual that would help my son and I remove the front body panels on his 88 F-250. We're rookies and we don't want to tear up more than we fix.
Removing body panels is the easy part. Getting them back on and lined up is a little tougher. Make sure you keep and label all the factory shims. Try drilling small alignment holes in the hood hinges before removal.
The front end can come off in pieces or you can leave the fenders attached to the radiator and grill supports and remove the whole thing.
