I have a deluxe Dee Zee. IMO it's the Cadillac or Mercedes of tool boxes. I have had a tool box of some kind on every truck I've owned over the past 30 or 40 years. Will post a photo of it tomorrow. Would have done it earlier today but just now got around to reading this thread. And it's dark outside. Where in the Hell did summer go?

I have a black aluminum diamond tread JOBOX. It's a good box except the paint hasn't lasted long.

I've got a UWS, spent a little over $300 on it. Black diamond plate and plenty of room underneath it for boards or whatever.

Mark I always thought Dee Zee was kind of a lower brand.

I have Weather Guard side boxes, but they make cross boxes boxes that sit flush, bulk tanks for fuel. They are by far the best tool boxes out there. I have had the cross boxes to. I will dig up some pics

Here are my side boxes, they make full length ones too

I will really have to dig to find the cross box

Here is a link to where I have got my truck boxes from, they have everything. I buy and service my plows there too.

Remember it was a IMO statement, but I've owned lots of different brands and the Dee Zee is the most durable, lowest profile for the capacity, and most secure and attractive looking one of the brands I've owned. Kind of a crummy day out weather wise for photo taking. Rest of the week looks pretty grim too. This box is close to 10 years old and has seen lots of duty.
