Granted, just looking at the vehicle is superficial, but it looks to me like it was well maintained, and if you really want a well maintained vehicle (Diesel), this one would be worthy of consideration. It calculates out to about (potentially) 66K per year, and would easily justify getting the diesel. I'd guess that the engine would need freshening around 500K, and the transmission should probably be done at the same time. It appears to be a North Carolina car, so it seems unlikely to have body rust issues. I'd guess that the axles would need service at around 700K (I have a friend with a Lincon LSC, 88, that went 400K with the 8.8 rear axle.). I think that if you're mechanically inclined and have the tools, you could do much worse. Miles, per se, don't scare me nearly as much as poor maintenance. Based on appearance, I hope it goes to a good home.
there is a 00 v10 2wd ex here in victoria, tx that is sitting at a local business. i talked to them and they said it needed an engine. i went to look at it and it has 419,XXX on the odo. i think that is high for a stock drivetrain
My ex has 270,000 on it now. Little things here and there needing fixed but so goes life. Its paid for and It seems to be holding its own. This one was a def nice ride for the miles. They must not be in possession of any children or animals. I pray this one hits 370 because I soooo do not want a new payment.

Reason: mileage needed to be thousands
Just kidding, I have 130K on my v10 and I'm looking to keep it for a lot longer, because it's paid for. I'm considering dropping in a diesel though because I tow daily.
EXWIFE? OMG i am so female its unreal. I mean I have the ***** to prove it! no exwife here! Did you not see my avitar pic? lol OMG
Why go diesel to tow? all my miles are extensive heavy duty towing miles. usually 6 horse bumper pull with 2-6 hrses, water tank, hay, feed, equipment etc. I know most like diesels for towing but gas is okay. I can still get 14 mpg when trailer is loaded.
