Why go diesel to tow? all my miles are extensive heavy duty towing miles. usually 6 horse bumper pull with 2-6 hrses, water tank, hay, feed, equipment etc. I know most like diesels for towing but gas is okay. I can still get 14 mpg when trailer is loaded.

Oops, I missed that one.

After owning a diesel and towing with it, it's so hard to tow with a gas. Yes the gasser pulls fine, but there's nothing nicer than having plenty of ponies waiting under the hood to help pull those horses around.

I dunno, I think ifyou had some pics to back up your story I could believe you. Till then though, I'm gonna remain skeptical! lol

Our 2000 Exc. is over 180k miles and wifey puts another 5-600 mi/wk on it! (commuting to college for next 2.5 yrs)

We've only had it 10k miles now and are 2nd owner. One of those obviously well maintained trucks we'd all like to find!

We will keep our PSD's forever. BTS trans coming soon for Exc., hopefully before stocker decides to break. As far as everything else goes - if it breaks, we'll just fix it with better parts! Car payments SUCK!

Anybody want a great deal on a '99 Suburban 4x4 2500 w/7.4l in it?
