2008 superduty keeps cracking windshields
I finally broke down and traded in my 97 f350 for an 08 f250 crew cab long bed 4x4, I'm having a problem with the wind shield I just cracked the second one in a year, I thought something hit it the fist time but it just cracked in the same place when i hit an uneven spot in a construction zone. Is any one else having a problem with this?

sounds like you are getting a stress crack because of something being too close to the window under the cowl or a seam or something that shifts too much. Pull the cowl and make sure that the window didn't get set on the stop or something.
Most reputable glass shops warranty their work if it is a stress crack, let me know how it turns out.

Usually it is started with a rock chip that eventually spread . Look at the crack and with a graphite pencil rub it on the crack to look for a point of impact. If the crack started at an edge first, it could be stress or a chipped edge when first installed.
