Hello all! I bought my '78 F-150 Explorer from the original owner back in '96. Sorry, don't have pic to post, but will try later to do so. I made the terrible mistake of letting my truck sit for 5 years, and have her running again! New fuel tank, fuel pump, & rebuilt the carburetor. Man those 351 Modified's sure pull, don't they! They don't make trucks like these anymore! See you on the forum! - Mark T
Hi and welcome Mark.
Congrats on a sweet looking truck, I`ve always really liked the 73-79 Ford trucks a lot. Looking forward to your pics.
I`ve made the same mistake, it`s not great to let a vehicle sit too long, same problem with the fuel tank, fuel pump, and the carburetor.
