the only way to start it is to use the remote start, but even that takes several attempts.
now to make it even better, it only happens when the truck sits for several hours like overnight. once the truck starts then its fine when i shut it off later and come back to it, i can use they key or the remote starts it 1st try.
now it wont start at all ive been trying for hours. i even talked to the instalers of the remote start and tried to re-program it, that didnt work. so we un-hooked it completly and took it out of the equation. but it still wont crank over...
AND NO ITS NOT THE BATTERY! lol

Sounds like it could be a safety switch. If it is a stick, might be the clutch switch and if an automatic, the park / neutral safety switch. If an auto, try moving the shifter and even try starting in neutral. If not, just might be the starter. On older Ford vehicles had luck hitting the starter with a hammer to get them to go.
