2000 ranger headlight/flasher problem

The headlights and flashers don't work on my Ranger. Lights work on high beam but not low. Replaced the multifunction thinking in it was the culprit. No luck.

Any ideas?

check fuse first, then check switch on steering column and its wiring. bad wiring is tipical problem for semis becouse drivers move steering column to leave truck cabine, but I saw broken wires in small trucks too.

well, it turns out I am the victim of vandals! These are the ones with four paws, whiskers and sharp teeth. Right up under the power distribution box on the firewall 13 wires have been chewed through. This ugly....
