change carb/intake help
Hey folks, I was wondering how much difference in performance AND gas usage I would have going from a stock 351 2 brl. carb to a edelbrock mild performance package 4 brl. 600 carb and intake....
Also, while I'm into the motor that much should I also do cam?

A cam is a lot more work and a pain to change for what you get, which is not much. You wil get improved performance and mileage with the 4bbl setup, especially if you do something with the exhaust too.

Thanks Franklin, Yeah I thought the cam might be more than what I want to get into. I have the pipes done already, headers and true 2 1/2 duals ran out...I'm thinking about going with side pipes now
