Ok, ive got a bit of a problem. i went to autozone to get a new Powersteering belt and AC belt. well autozone didnt have either one. they had the style of belt that was a single belt that went around the power steering and ac with 1 belt but not a belt on each. its a 1982 302 CID. my fan has 3 belts running off of it. and the guy said for me to measure the belts to get within 1 inch. well id rather get the right belts for my truck. anyone know the Gatorback belt part# for the belts. I would rather not go with any other brand than Goodyear gatorbacks.
the spec is 17/32's wide (hence the 17) and the last 3 digits are the length in inches, with one decimal place. 505 would be 50.5 inches
with the layout, I can get you close. Is the 3rd crank pully driving the PS, and the 3rd fan pulley driving the pump, and the inner two crank/fan pulleys driving the ac and alt?
They should have a belt measuring tool. You bring in your old belt, they put it on the tool and can tell the length and width and give you a new replacement. It sounds like they may have been looking at belt listings for a car. The 302's in cars started using the serpentine belts before the trucks.
