Rare Looky/see
got my truck stripped down inside and out ready to go to the body shop for paint as i am also doing the interior due to a complete color change and have had a very rare experiance of seeing the rust free insides of the rear cab below the window [supercab] 30 years later as i dont have the option of a quanset that the po had to keep this truck out of the weather would there be any strucual issues of cutting an access hole on the inside to get under coating in there? this would be covered by interior panels and not be seen after wards and there is "bare metel" every where i gusse ford figered primer ect wasnt nessesary and this is where i have seen the most rust damage on these cabs a mechanic freind of mine also recomended pouring gear oil in there to coat every thing what are your thoughts?

Eastwood (forum sponsor) has some products I've used in the past for situations like this. Can't remember whitch one, it's been a while and I'm a forgetfull old fart. Their catalog might be worth a look.
