OJ Gets IT!

Guilty on all counts, including the other jokers as well.

Remanded without bail, sentencing in 45-60 days. Well, he doesn't have to worry about where he's going to stay tonight...

Read all about it as I'm sure the news sites are full of the whole sordid mess.

Next question, will he get life?

I doubt it but I sure do like what I read here I' ll go to the news next. I like a lot of others at one time thought he was OK but given enough time to be stupid he became just that. The mess years back that no one will forget yet for a while then this, he will wind up like Martha Stewart and have the ritzy life in prison and tell all the tabloids how poor he is treated not to mention having a mariage proposal bestowed on him after his arrival on the first eve that will be hog wash because he will have a private cell.

OK so I ranted a little but I dont think it will be that big of a thing and he will before long be out again. I love our system.

If he goes to prison in Nevada he won't see any penthouse cell. Nevada has some of the toughest prisons in the country, the guys I know who have traveled that road say it is tough & dangerous.
Now maybe he will get what he deserves.

Acquitted 13 years ago of murder he thought that he could get away with anything. Now he faces life in prison in Nevada. You know that there are some guys who will make a point of taking him on just to prove something. At 61 he is going to face the reality that he is not some sort of superman.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I think they'll throw the book at him.

Look for his attorneys to bring up the racial composition of the jury during the appeals.

I truly wish that every one is correct, the fact of guilt has always been well known and pretty much proved in a later civil action but yet nothing, money talks and you know the rest, which if I understand correctly was never paid off to the respective parents of the slain.

But O.J. like most other idiots of his caliber has the loopholes, it sad but true, there is always one more "dodge the bullet" play to be made. I' am for sure watching to see what he gets for this but I' am "show me" and I do hope they throw the book at him but I do not have high exspectations there fore I will not be dissapointed.

Doesnt sound like the moron he was robbing was any better than O.J. just different. I would think you could have thrown them both in a bag and shook it up been a hard guess to tell which one would have come out first. If it looks like, smells like, feels like, don't see much sense in a taste test.

I don't think he will get life, and I don't think it would be right if he did. I'm guessing 10-15 years which seems fair for the crime or maybe even a little high.

We all know he did the deed back in 1995, but that cannot be a factor in sentencing for this crime. He was found not guilty, like it or not.

There will be appeals. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see an appeal that includes a request for injunction that will keep him out of prison until the appeals are decided.

I'll be really surprised if he spends more than a few weeks, maybe a few months at most, behind bars for this.

I wonder if they will put him in the general population...one can only hope...or put him in some sort of special housing...with other high profile criminals...such as rapists...child molesters...snitches???

I can only imagine that there would be a whole bunch of hard core inmates who wouldn't mind making a name for themselves by taking out the murderer...ummm...alleged murderer...who was acquited by a jury of his peers!!!

He's in jail at least until his sentencing as the judge rightfully denied bail. I believe that he is a flight risk. But I have to wonder that, if Obama gets elected, if Simpson will get a pardon on Obama's last day in office.

I liked the way the lights went off just as the verdict was completed. Ironic that as they dropped the curtain on him, and then, BANG! everyone was sitting in complete darkness. A physical happening to an emotional feeling. Almost symbolic in some way.
