What kind of gauge do you have on the right side of your dash Austin?
If you're meaning the one in the earlier photo, it's an altimeter. It seemed fitting since I drive a lot up in the hills. Funny thing, it was a gift that sat around for years before I used it, and now I couldn't imagine not having it.
Just an update... I stumbled accross a steering wheel with wood pattern on fleabay. It turns out that oemdash does this kind of work on pretty much any plastic. Ford Trucks Might wanna try calling them...

Yeah I know. It would look great, and you would not have to worry as much about wearing down the leather and your wheel looking bad. One of these days...
Atleast you would never have to worry about steering wheel covers and such to make the wheel look better. But many other things to spend the money on these days.
