a good buy

looking at a 99 350 with the 7.3, im running more horses now, and the old F150 just isnt enough. Runs good, tranny's good, tubo's still holding boost, new front end, but it's got 365,000 on it. Just wondering what you guys thought. They're asking $5500, but prices have been falling a lot latly too.thanks

any running PSD 4x4 has got to be worth 5,000 IMO... if taken care of these things will run 500,000 and more..id grab it..if you feel the need you can check it over more using this link

Is this price decent though, i wouldnt have dreamed about buying a deisel for 5500 a year ago. I test drove a 04 king ranch the other day with 97,000 and they only wanted 15k for it. I thought it was a steal, but I just cant afford that.

ok, I thought I remember there being a recall on some sensors for these trucks, Is there any place I can run the vin number and see if it was done? Or were the sensors even that big of a issue?

the sensor was the cam sensor (CPS)..there $25 now..most of us use the IH one...but there around $100.. post your email and vin in this link..they will email the run down on it.
