Does anybody know of any cheap 38.5 inch tires? I cant really afford super swampers or anything else advertised in the magazines, but I need a decent mud tire. I was just wondering if anybody has ever seen any 38's about 15 or 16 inches wide for under $200 a piece. Thanks.

When you start to get into tire sizes like that, there are no Off-Brands. W/ 38's you basically have 2 choices-expensive and more expensive. You can get a 38X12.50 TSL for under 200 a pop but you'll never find a 14-16"wide 38 for that.
A 16X38.5x15 TSL runs about $225 at National Tire and Wheel, but you have shipping on top of that if your not close enough to get them yourself. Sorry Bub, but you may have to look at something smaller if you want to stay in that price range.

"like a rock" on the sides of roads everywhere.

72 F-100 4x4. fresh 390 4bbl, NP435 tranny, spooled rear, 2"skyjacker springs front, 2" custom shackle flip rear, "mild" fender trim, 35x15.50 TSL/SX tires.

LAST EDITED ON 11-Sep-01 AT 03:52 PM (EST)[p]38/15-15 gumbo mudders are 215 and hawgs are about 222 at ntw beleive go to ntwonline.com and look around, it will be hard to find any tires cheaper than that at that width, if u go narrower to a 12.50 like he said, prices will drop alot, theres also a tsl bogger trhats a 38.5x11 for cheap i think
