i have a 2000 exp eb. i just replaced the rear swaybar bushings.
my problem is that i feel every little bump in the road. it has the front air struts that i unbolted one and they seem to be good. the rears look old (140,000 miles) but i havent had a chance to unbolt one to check it. i ddint think that the air ride was such a rough ride compared to conventional springs.
being that the front isnt a "cheep" replacement air shock that has a seperate shock from the lift section could it not be responding as it should??
I got all four of mine at Shock Warehouse. For the air suspension the fronts are Monroes. They are the only one's that make a shock for the front. The rears I installed Bilstiens and am very happy with both. The Monroes on line are about half the price of buying them from Fords. Changing the shocks really made a difference in ride quality.
