Kind of the wrong place, but edge is an appearance package. The edge has really tall plastic bed caps. If you don't have those, then it's most likely a plain styleside (at least as far as a tonneau cover is concerned.)
Only the early Edge's came with the plastic rail caps. Believe me I looked to buy some from Ford to put on my 2004 FX4 and I got the same answer from 4 diffrent Ford parts departments. And none of them said they were availble. Hmmm
Besides, the Edge has an 4X4 stance, even if it's 2WD. It's different from the other Ranger models of its time because it has the plastic flooring and the white gage cluster facing,as opposed to carpet and different to interior features.
So basicly if your truck was made 2001-2005, and if your truck says "XLT" and not "XL", and has no capreting and white gages, it's an Edge.
