Bonehead Moment...

So, gotta let you all laugh about this one! When I was driving back from Tennessee last weekend, I noticed the driver's front speaker blew. Making funky noises, etc. So, today, I went and bought a new set of speakers. After I got the driver's side installed I turned on the radio to hear the difference. It sounded great. I closed the door and walked over to do the passenger side. The door was locked....then I found that ALL the doors were locked! So I got the "bright" idea to climb into the bed and see if I could CAREFULLY pry open the sliding window. It started well........ended in it shattering in my face. A glass company will be coming by on thursday to replace it, and it's not cheap. Just thought I might be able to lighten everyone's day by you all knowing there are a few of us "dummies" out there, lol.

Oh yes, another slider is going in. I wouldn't have a truck without one.

That's not a bonehead moment...

A bonehead moment is when you go through all that then remember you have keyless entry..

Thats why I have 3 spare keys, and 3 remotes just for that reason.

I make a few trusted family members carry around an extra truck key, so when I pull a bonehead I can get one of them to come unlock it for me.

Funny story though. I hate those days when the series of events seem to culminate in such a way that the result is a lighter wallet.
