K, so I am having some problems with my remote start and I wanted to see if anyone else has done one.
I am pretty sure that the problem is in the tach wire. My remote start says that it should produce a voltage of 1-6V. The white/pink tach wire that I found under the dash puts out less than one volt. It fluctuates with engine rpm like it should, but it does not put out enough voltage. Does anybody know of a tach wire anywhere that puts out those kinds of voltages?
Haha yeah...when I was a kid, i always wanted a monster truck and i guess i never really grew up!
Yeah, i was measuring an AC. On DC, it shows a constant ~12V. Am I tapped into the correct tach wire? I know there is also one at the pcm, but I assumed that the one under the dash and the one at the pcm were the same. Is that wrong?
