lost arctic cat ignition key

i have an 89 arctic cat pantera 440l/c and it was stored at my sisters house...she moved to a new house..the sled got moved and the key that was hanging up inside her old house is now lost

my question is if i get a key from another arctic cat sled with the same on/off and electric start configuration will it fit my ignition or is each one different like car keys???

and on way or the other where can i get possibly a cheap key or whole ignition setup??

Take the vin # to the dealer and see if they can find one for you.

will they be able to do that this thing is 19 yrs old would they have records back that far??

no, they wont, but back then, they only had about 5 different keys

could always do like we do with our toys... when we loose the keys or break the keys or what ever... a toggle switch to turn it on and off... and a push button for the starter....
