rear disc brakes replacement.......

recently bought a 2001 f150 4 door. I need to replace the rear pads. This truck is way newer than anything i've worked on.
I did a search here and couldn't find what I need.
can someone give me the steps to replace the pads. I can't afford a manual right now.

works just like the front only simpler. remove the tire/rim. unbolt the caliper and slide it off and still connected to the hose. replace the pads and reinstall.... thats the simple version. i think it is a good idea to remove the disc and clean inside and out. i like to take the "lip" off the outer edge with a grinding wheel and get the rust off the inside. plus you get to see the e-brake pads inside.

Usually it is not so easy getting the rear rotors off , they are usually rusted on.

You might have to loosen the e-brakes by taking of the rubber bung on the dust shield and use a large slot screw driver on the adjuster to take the rotor off. That is what I did.
