I have a 99 V10. Was completely stock until 180,000 km at which point it popped a plug. I removed the heads and installed inserts with 10 threads, stock 3-4. I then took to a shop to do a 3 angle valve job and porting. Removed cat, installed b&n twin 65mm t.b, k&n filter, custom cold air box, superchips tune, MSD coils, mezeirre electric water pump, twin 16" electric fan kit. Stock rwhp was 225, now 355. Stock rwtrq. 325, now 470.

-Whipple charger custom.
-External fuel pump, 42lb/hr injectors
-Rebuilding block with .30 overbore and H beam rods
Ford has pissed off a lot of people with this engine because of a bad desighn in my opinion because of the lack of threads causes premature failure after all there aluminum, the more it has the better. Im very happy with the inserts i installed, there high grade steel and will never come out or stip threads and would highly recommend doing it.

Despite what you've been told, some devices like the one you got aren't very accurate to say the least. If your curious as to what your trucks putting out show up or ask around some local shops for a reasonably priced dyno pulls. For example theres a place around here that lets you do 3 pulls for 70 bucks.
