I'm having some issues with my AC. I noticed this problem just after detailing my truck and cleaning the entire dash with liquid cleaner.
The AC blower motor would not turn on at all - I checked all the fuses and none were blown.
The AC pump was kicking on and when you turned the position switch you could hear stuff happening. So I popped the cover off and un-did the 4 screws and unplugged everything off of it and swapped it out for another one from another one of our trucks. The AC began to work again and blow as normal. So I switched the unit back for the original one and the AC was working fine again for a day or so then it stopped working again and started again for a few hours a few days later.
Also, 1/2 of the lighting isn't working on the unit.
So, my question is do I need a new unit or is there some other problem?
