460 Electrical Problems!

460 Electrical Problems!
So I just put this new 460 in my truck. The old engine had a dead cylinder so I popped this new one in. All the electrical is from my old engine.
I'm having problems with the electrical. I have hooked something up wrong or something is missing, but I don't know what!
When I turn the truck on, it turns over fine but does not fire up.
As far as I know it is not sparking right. BUT that is not the reason i'm posting this.
When I turn the ignition on, the fuel pump should cycle on. IT DOES NOT. If I turn the truck over and then turn the key off the fuel pump cycles on, but stays on until I unhook the battery.
ANY IDEA'S?
Please point out where to look. And don't tell me to go look up a wiring diagram because honestly, i'm not smart enough to understand all those little lines! I do have a Haynes manual I bought that hasn't helped me much for this.
