I bought my 04 Screw FX4 18 months ago with 22k miles on it for 23k, which I thought was a good deal back then. I now owe about 21k on it and its worth 12k if I was to try and trade it in now.
I'm off today and simply couldn't resist the weekly ride through the Ford dealer. Rows and rows aof SD's and only a few '08 F-150's left.

I saw an '07 F-150 XLT 4x4 on the used lot. I got out and looked at it. Very clean, 24K on the odo but no tow package and a 4.6L.

The dude came out and said the NADA on it was $23,995 and thats where the negotiations begin.

I gave him my name and number and offered them 13k out the door with no trade. I don't think he'll be calling, but, it's not exactly what I want anyway. But, for 13k, I could live with it.

I came up with a value of around 14,000 for that truck and that's using KBB fair trade in value.

They most likely got it at wholesale which is much less.
I'd offer them 12K max for it.

That just shows that these trucks have lost close to 70% of their initial MSRP price.

You and I think about the same as 13k out the door comes in around $12,200 plus taxes, tags, dealer fee, etc.
