Frustrated
04 f250 psd i have replaced everything i can think of in the frontend and i still have a clunking noise when going over these "smooth" roads here in neb. do they make replacement bushings for the leaf springs? or am i missing something else? new shocks, balljoints, torsion bars/bushings, what else is there? i love driving this truck but that noise is driving me nuts!

Have you had a shop looking at it. You might want to make sure you didn't snap/crack a leafspring. Thats the only thing I can think of that would cause a clunking

Torsion bar bushings have been known to make noises such as you have mentioned.

What is involved in everything? Is the truck lifted or leveled?

Is it while turning or normal driving?

Stock suspension, 106,000 miles changed shocks, ball joints, swaybar end links, swaybar bushings. It does it both straight and turning.

How about the radius arm bushings. They will clunck when going straight.

how fast/slow is the clunk? maybe something is loose in the exhaust or banging against the firewall?

Slip joint on drive shaft will clunk if out of grease.
