Rear seat help

Went to raise the rear seat in my truck, when I found that the pull-strap was gone. I looked for another way to get to the release, but couldn't find one.

What is involved in getting the seat up, so I can put another pull-strap on it??

Thanks in advance!

Gary

Is this an extra cab or crew cab?

In both my 86 extra cab trucks there is nothing to hold the seat down, and you just lift it to flip it over. I don't know if they added a latch in later years though. Only the back rest is held in by a latch on the passenger end.

On mine(84) there are two handles, one on each side, you can pull the seat up from those, I don't know what year your truck is though.

Sorry... I forgot to mention that it's a 93. They are supposed to have a release, to flip the bench up.
