Mag Hytec Filter
Anyone know if the filter that comes with the Mag Hytec pan for the 5R110 (if you buy direct from them) is the oem internal filter or if it's a special Mag Hytec filter?
The reason I ask is their website states that it is up to the distributor if they send the filter with the pan.

The MagHyTec pan uses the same filter that comes with the 5R100 trans in 4 wheel drive trucks. If your truck is 4 wheel drive then the filter you have will be the correct one. The MagHyTec pan is about the same depth as the stock steel pan, it is just squared out to gain the extra capacity.

I did the swap last year. The pan is deeper by a couple of inches. I got it striaght from Mag and no filter. Just picked one up at the dealer. Also if i rember right 20 quarts of oil you will need. Also get the front filter. It looks like a roll of toilet paper up by the radiator.
