weatherstripping

Hi Folks, I just finished restoring my 77'F-150 SuperCab, but I have a problem because after I installed the new weatherstripping on the doors this don't close easilly, so i was wondering if anyone had a problem like this and what you did to solve it. Thanks!!

It takes time for the rubber to "seat" against the door frame.. It will happen better when it is hot outside also. Time also helps.

Definatley takes a needs a bit of time to seat in. When I assembled my 68 Firebird I had the same problem. The doors were hard to close and when they were closed and you opened them they really popped open because of the stiff rubbers. I had to adjust the door strikers out abit at first and as the rubbers seated in I brought the strikers back in. It took a few months but they close like perfectly now.
