Just kidding Welcome to FTE!! Ya need to be a tad more specific, what's wrong, and what are the "specs" of your truck (like my trucks listed below my name) and some one can help you out.
first off i would like to put a boss 302 in the truck but would that be a good motor for a truck? second i need a new leaf spring. its a 4x4 reg cab shortbed 5.0 EFI.
I would say that the boss 302 wouldn't be a great truck motor because it is designed for street/racing ie higher rpm torque curve. A truck would be better served with a motor with low end grunt. But it really depends what the truck is going to be used for.
The leaf spring can be gotten from one of our sponsers at the top of the page, I've gotten springs from BroncoGraveyard.com and am very happy with them.
A couple of my buddies have some high performance motors in thier trucks and i was wanting to keep up with em but also i want a truck that can still be used for towing and what not
You'd be better off, in my book, staying with your EFI 302 or bumping up to the EFI 351 or building a stroker. Check out this thread of a member building a 393 EFI for his 4X4: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/2...e-builder.html
