2008 Sd V-10

I'm looking at a new 250 with a V-10. Does anyone have an average gas mileage on that engine??

the average i have seen run from 10mpg-15mpg depending on the driving style. with the majority of it being around 11-12mpg. Unloaded

Loaded expect 7-9 mpg for most loads.

Just got mine two weeks ago, drove 1000 mile trip down south yesterday, started at 9 mpg, by the end of the trip it climbed to 12 mpg. Still new with the engine breaking in. And there was 1800# in the bed. The power feels pretty sweet compared to my '05' with the 5.4. If this engine is suppose to wake up after more miles, I can't wait.

I have an 08 F350 crew cab single rear wheels lariat V10 with 20" wheels and 4:10 gears 4X4 got 4500 miles on it,get max of 14 mpg empty,runs high 9's towing

My 08 F250 4x4 CrewCab Lariat V10 with 18's and 4.10's, currently has 2100 miles on it. My city only is averaging around 10mpg right now. Highway only (heavily mountainous) is averaging over 14mpg. My last tank, which was 1 week of city driving, and a highway trip, returned 13.18mpg (figured manually).

I fully expect to average 11mpg city, and 14-15mpg highway, when fully broken in. I don't drive hard............ but really don't have to. The V10 has plenty of power to do pretty much everything at part throttle.

I don't know towing mileage yet, because we won't get a TT for a few months yet.
