I have a 2007 6.0 and my dealer is telling me that the powertrain is only covered for 3/36. I thought this was increased to 5/60 for 07 models. can anyone validate this? Just to avoid any confusion I'm not talking about the 5/100 powerstroke warranty just the trans,and diffs. thanks for your help.

 

The powertrain (except the diesel engine) is 5 years/60,000 miles on all 2007s.

 

Ford extended the powertrain warranty, effective starting july 14 2006 to 5 years/60k mi.

Here is some info on it, if you have a 2007 brochure, it should be in bold print in it!!!

THanks the dealer is telling me that since I have a diedel that the rest of the powertrain is only covered under the 3/36.

 

No! the bumper to bumper warranty is 3/36 and the powertrain used to be included in the bumper to bumper warranty up until july 2006.
