E4OD Value
I'm putting a ZF five speed in my F350 and want to get rid of the E4OD I took out, is it worth trying to sell or should I scrap it? If I sell it how much is it worth? I also have the drive plate from the engine and the computer and other electronic bits for the transmission. This truck is 4x4 and has the 7.3L diesel engine.
The E4OD is questionable - it's a Ford reman unit that the previous owner thought had failed completely, but when I got the truck and got it running it would drive forward and backward like a normal automatic. I did not drive it at any speed or for any distance before ripping it out though. The oil that came out of it wasn't dirty or burned.
Should I put it on Craig's List and see what happens? Would an FTE member want it? I'm just north of Albany, NY if anyone is interested.

I'd put it in the classifieds with "best offer" and see what you can get out of it...you should definatly get more than scrap price out of it, especially considering it cost in the thousands to have one rebuilt...
