New heads, new problem (intake)

i just got my ported aussies after a month of waiting. the problem is the intake ports are 4v size and my performer intake is too small to cover the ports now i need to get the price motorsports adapters and a 351c intake.

question...which 351c 4v intake do i get? the performer, blue thunder or another option?

jajajajaj, what did you do with the exaust ports?, if you really managed to work your intake ports as 4v ports you have better heads thanthe cleveland 4v since they are said to flow worst on the exaust side than 2vs, thats why aftermarket cleveland heads base their exaust porst no matter 2v or 4v on 2v stock heads but better.. anyways for torque is better to have a much more flowing exaust port than intake port....

they aren't that big...we put a 4v gasket next to it and it was way bigger but my heads still flow 200

i figured i would post a pic of the intake and price motor-sports engineering adapters in case anyone is thinking of putting 4v heads on a 400 like mustange70 did or have ported heads that need a larger intake port like i have so you know it can be done easily and what it will look like bolted up.

The head is a closed chamber 351c 4v head btw.

i didn't realize the picture was so dark, but you will probably get the idea.

Who ported your heads? it had to be someone with great experience due to the fact that these heads are delicate and hard to port...

Yeah the price adapters are really nice, in my case i had to fill in the top of the intake i was using as it was meant for the nascar high port heads, but those spacers fit perfect, with very little mismatch, well worth the price, they also have a bunch of other adapters to bolt anything on would want to.

i was pretty worried about port mismatch but there was little to none with both 4v heads and ported 2v's.
